Short version: If you want a Google Ads expert in India who works on your account personally, a solo freelancer is often the better fit than an agency. Below are nine independent Google Ads and PPC freelancers based across India, from Ahmedabad, Delhi and Mumbai to Bengaluru, Kochi, Vadodara and Patna. I picked them using public evidence only: their own websites, the certifications they show, the results and content they publish, and how long they say they have been doing this work. I am a Google Ads freelancer too and this is my site, so I am listed first and marked as the author; the other eight follow alphabetically, not ranked. After the list you will find a comparison table, an honest note on when I am the wrong pick, what freelancers in India typically charge, the questions I would ask on a first call, and the red flags that should end a conversation.

Picture a store owner in Pune, or Leeds, or Ohio, at the end of a long day. They type "google ads expert in india" into Google and open ten tabs. Every profile says certified. Most say ten years or more. Several promise a ROAS figure in bold. By the fourth tab the pages start to blur together, and there is no obvious way to tell who has actually run an account like theirs.

That is the problem this page tries to fix. I cannot tell you who is best for your business without seeing your account, and nobody honestly can. What I can do is show you how I would build a shortlist, apply the same checks to every name, and give you the questions that make real experience visible within twenty minutes.

How I picked these Google Ads freelancers in India

Every person on this list was checked against public evidence they publish themselves. I did not use paid placements, and nobody on this list asked to be included. The checks were:

  • Their own website or professional profile. A real, working site with their name on it, describing what they do and for whom.
  • Solo or near-solo. The site has to present one person doing the work. Anyone who describes an in-house team of PPC specialists was left out, because that is an agency, and agencies are a different decision.
  • Certifications shown publicly. Google Ads certifications from Skillshop, or a Google Partner badge, as displayed on their own site. I note what each person shows. I have not audited anyone's Partner status in Google's directory, so treat these as their stated credentials.
  • Years active. As stated by the person. Where a site gave conflicting figures, I left the number out rather than pick one.
  • Published work. Case study summaries, blog posts, guides or free tools they have put out under their own name.
  • Google Ads as the main service. Plenty of digital marketers list Google Ads as one item among fifteen. I looked for people where paid search is central, even if they offer a few related services around it.

A note on what this does not cover. I have not seen inside any of these people's client accounts, and I am not vouching for results. Every figure below is what the person publishes about themselves, as of November 2026. Your own vetting still matters, and the questions later on are there to help with it.

The 9 Google Ads freelancers and experts in India to know in 2026

I wrote this page, so I am listed first and clearly marked as the author. The other eight are listed alphabetically by first name, and their numbers are for reference, not a ranking.

1. Vasant Chaudhary (Ahmedabad), the author of this page

That is me. I am a Google Ads freelancer based in Ahmedabad, and I work on every account myself. Over 5+ years I have managed 50+ accounts and more than $30M in ad spend, which has generated over $90M in revenue. You can see the screenshots behind those numbers in the case studies on my homepage.

Focus: E-commerce almost entirely: Google Shopping, Performance Max, product feeds, Search and Demand Gen for online stores, for brands directly or as a white-label partner behind agencies.

Who I suit: Online stores in India, the US and the UK that sell through Shopping and Performance Max and want one specialist who understands feeds, margins and tracking.

2. Amit Kumar (New Delhi)

Amit Kumar runs Amit PPC Expert from New Delhi and presents himself as a freelance PPC specialist working under his own name. His site says he has over ten years of experience in digital marketing and describes him as Google certified. Paid campaigns are the headline service, covering Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, Bing and Amazon, with SEO and website design offered alongside.

Focus: Lead generation and paid campaigns across several platforms, with industries on his site including real estate, education, travel and e-commerce.

Who he suits: Businesses that want one person handling Google Ads plus a couple of other paid channels, especially in real estate and education.

3. Chandra Prakash, AdsTrigger (Patna)

Chandra Prakash trades as AdsTrigger and describes himself as a full-time Google Ads freelancer based in India, with a contact address in Patna, Bihar. His site states plainly, "I focus only on Google Ads," and displays a Google Partner badge. One thing I like: he publishes starting prices on the site, for example monthly management from $300 a month, audits and campaign setup as separate fixed services, and one-to-one Google Ads training.

Focus: Google Ads only, across industries his site lists as clothing, manufacturing, legal, dental clinics, travel, education, real estate and e-commerce. He also offers account suspension recovery.

Who he suits: Small businesses that want a Google Ads specialist with transparent entry pricing, or owners who want training to run their own account.

4. Dhaval Kamdar (Mumbai)

Dhaval Kamdar is a Google Ads consultant in Mumbai who says he has been in digital marketing since 2012, which his site gives as 14 years of experience. He describes himself as a Google-certified professional and puts the scope simply: "PPC is all we do." He positions himself as a client's outsourced in-house Google Ads account manager, and offers both monthly retainers and paid hourly consultations.

Focus: Lead generation through Search, Display, Discovery and YouTube campaigns.

Who he suits: Service businesses that want a long-standing PPC specialist, and teams who only need an hour of expert advice rather than full management.

5. Kashif Rehman (Delhi)

Kashif Rehman runs Online Marketing Bull from Delhi and describes himself as a freelance Google Ads consultant and teacher, working directly with clients with "no agency middlemen." His site states 6+ years of hands-on PPC work and lists Google Ads certifications in Search, Display and Shopping. He publishes a fair amount for free: a blog, a long Google Ads eBook, a negative keyword generator and a video on tracking thank-you page conversions with Google Tag Manager.

Focus: Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, conversion tracking and audits, for both lead generation and e-commerce. His case summaries mention clients in India, the USA and Australia.

Who he suits: Businesses in Delhi NCR who value the option of meeting in person, and owners who want to learn Google Ads alongside having it managed.

6. Pawan Kumar (Vadodara)

Pawan Kumar is a freelancer based in Vadodara, Gujarat, who says he has 9+ years of experience starting in 2015. His site is clear about how he works: he "personally handles every project," with no outsourcing and no junior staff. Google Search Ads are his primary paid focus, with Display, Remarketing and Performance Max also offered, alongside SEO, Meta Ads and website design.

Focus: Search-led lead generation for real estate, education, clinics and local services, with some e-commerce and SaaS.

Who he suits: Local and service businesses that want Search campaigns run by one person, and who may want SEO from the same freelancer.

7. Pratyush Giri (Bengaluru)

Pratyush Giri is a freelance Google Ads specialist in Bengaluru whose site says "you work directly with me" and that he personally handles every bid, ad and optimisation. He lists Google Skillshop certifications in Google Ads Search and Measurement, and shows Google Partner status. His site publishes short result summaries by industry, each naming the campaign type involved, which is more specific than most freelancer pages.

Focus: Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Demand Gen, Display and App campaigns, with lead generation as the main theme and e-commerce work listed too. He also offers help with suspended accounts.

Who he suits: Bengaluru businesses that want a local, hands-on specialist, particularly for lead generation and app installs.

8. Sajesh P (Kochi)

Sajesh P (Sajesh Palat) is a freelancer based in Kochi, Kerala, and the longest-serving name on this list by his own account, with more than 17 years of hands-on experience. He describes himself as a certified Google Ads professional and shows a Google Partner badge. He works as a freelancer and says a small supporting team helps with design, copy and reporting where needed, which places him in the near-solo group rather than a classic agency.

Focus: Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping and Remarketing, plus audits. He also offers web design and SEO, and lists healthcare, education, SaaS, e-commerce, real estate and local services.

Who he suits: Businesses that want an experienced freelancer who can also build or fix the website the ads point to.

9. Sheron Kumar (Kochi)

Sheron Kumar is a performance marketing consultant in Kochi who writes in the first person and positions himself against the agency model. His site lists certifications for Google Search Ads, Performance Max and Google Shopping, along with Google Partner and Meta Business Partner badges. It states he has managed more than INR 2 crore in ad spend and links to a portfolio of detailed case studies.

Focus: Google Ads and Meta Ads together, with landing pages, tracking and creative testing. He groups his work into lead generation, D2C and Shopify e-commerce, fixing broken tracking, and white-label media buying for agencies.

Who he suits: D2C brands and lead generation businesses that want Google and Meta handled by the same person.

Where I fit, and when I am not the right pick

Putting myself first on my own blog is a choice you should weigh accordingly, so here is the honest version. My work is almost all e-commerce, and that is where I am strongest.

I am probably the wrong pick if your business is mainly local lead generation, if you want Meta, SEO and Google handled by one person, or if you need someone to visit your office. Several of the other eight people on the list are a better fit for those needs, and I would rather you hired one of them than worked with me on something outside my lane. If you are still deciding how to hire, my longer guide on how to hire a Google Ads freelancer goes through the full process, and Google Ads consultant vs agency vs freelancer covers which model suits which business.

Freelancer vs agency in India

The choice between a freelance Google Ads expert in India and an agency usually comes down to one question: who will actually make the changes in your account each week?

With a freelancer, the answer is the person you spoke to. You get direct access, fewer layers and usually a lower fee for the same level of experience. The trade-off is capacity and cover. One person can only handle so many accounts, and when they are ill or on holiday, nobody else knows your account as well.

With an agency, you get a bench. Someone covers when your manager is away, there is often a creative team, and larger agencies can run several channels under one contract. The trade-off is that the senior person in the sales call is not always the person in your campaigns, so you need to ask who will be.

As a rough guide, freelancers tend to suit businesses that want Google Ads done well and are comfortable owning the rest of their marketing. Agencies tend to suit businesses that need several channels, regular creative production, or guaranteed cover. If you have decided an agency is the better route, my agency Improtics keeps a separate comparison of the best Google Ads agencies in India. Improtics appears on that list, and the page says so openly, so read it with that in mind.

What a Google Ads expert in India typically charges

Rates vary widely, and published prices are rare, so treat the ranges below as typical rather than fixed. They are based on what is commonly quoted in the market, not on a survey.

Monthly management

Freelancers in India working with Indian businesses often charge a five-figure rupee retainer each month for one account, rising with the number of campaigns, products and markets. For overseas clients, India-based freelancers commonly charge somewhere around $300 to $800 a month, and experienced specialists who work with US and UK stores are often nearer $500 to $1,500. AdsTrigger, from the list above, is one of the few who publishes a starting price, at $300 a month.

Audits and one-off projects

Audits, new account builds and Merchant Center fixes are usually quoted as fixed projects. A paid audit is a sensible first step with any new freelancer, because it shows you how they think before you commit to a retainer.

Hourly consulting

Some freelancers, like Dhaval Kamdar above, sell consultations by the hour. This works well if you have an in-house person running the account and want an expert to check their work or answer specific questions.

Percentage of ad spend

Some freelancers and many agencies charge a percentage of spend, often somewhere in the 10% to 20% range. I am cautious about this model for ongoing management, because the fee goes up when spend goes up, whether or not that spend is profitable. A fixed retainer keeps the focus on results.

Whatever model you choose, judge the fee against the budget it is looking after. A very cheap package that wastes a fifth of your ad spend costs far more than it saves.

How to vet a Google Ads expert in India

Profiles all look similar after a while, so the first call is where you learn the most. These are the questions I would ask if I were hiring.

1. How will you check that my conversion tracking is correct?

A good answer covers purchases or leads being counted once, values coming through properly, and Google's numbers being compared with your actual orders or CRM. If they plan to trust whatever the account currently reports, keep looking.

2. Can you show me an account like mine?

Ask for a screen share of a similar account, with the client name hidden, or a case study with real context: the starting point, what changed, and over what period. A headline ROAS with no context tells you very little.

3. What would you change in the first two weeks?

The strongest answer is usually "not much until I have reviewed tracking and structure." Someone eager to rebuild everything before they understand your account is a risk to your revenue.

4. Who will actually work on my account?

With a freelancer this should be them. If they mention a helper or an assistant, ask exactly what that person does and what access they will have.

5. How many clients do you manage right now?

There is no perfect number, but compare it with the fee and you will have a sense of how much time your account will get each week.

6. How do you report, and how often?

Look for a short written summary of what changed, why, and what comes next. A dashboard link on its own is data, not analysis.

7. When did you last advise a client to spend less?

Anyone who has managed real budgets has had this conversation. If nothing comes to mind, they may be protecting their fee rather than your profit.

Red flags when hiring a PPC expert in India

One of these on its own is not always fatal. Two or three together usually are.

  • Guaranteed results. Nobody can promise a fixed ROAS, a set number of leads or the top position on Google.
  • Asking for your login details. A real specialist asks to be added as a user in Google Ads and Merchant Center, or links through their manager account. They never need your Google password.
  • Account ownership confusion. Your Google Ads account should be in your name, with your billing. If a freelancer wants to run ads from their own account, you lose the history when you part ways.
  • No questions about your margins. A ROAS target means little without knowing how much of each sale you keep.
  • Reports full of clicks and impressions. Traffic is not the goal. Sales, leads, cost per acquisition and profit are.
  • Long lock-in contracts. With an individual, month-to-month or a short initial term is normal. Be wary of anything that makes leaving expensive.
  • Badges you cannot check. Certifications and Partner badges are a reasonable baseline, not proof of skill. If a badge links nowhere, ask for the certificate or the Partner profile.

Where to find more Google Ads freelancers in India

If none of the nine above fit, these are the usual places to look, each with its own trade-offs.

Freelance marketplaces

Upwork, Fiverr and similar platforms list thousands of India-based Google Ads freelancers, with visible reviews and job histories. They are a good way to compare, but they push prices down and attract generalists. Filter for people whose history shows work like yours, and interview them as seriously as you would an employee.

LinkedIn

Many Indian PPC specialists post regularly on LinkedIn about what they see inside accounts. People who share specific observations from real campaigns are usually easier to judge than those who share slogans.

Referrals

Ask other founders or your web developer who runs their ads. A recommendation from someone who has paid for the work is still the strongest signal you can get.

How to pick the best Google Ads freelancer in India for your business

Start by being clear about what you need. An e-commerce store living on Shopping and Performance Max needs a different person from a clinic that wants phone calls from Search. Shortlist two or three people whose public work matches your type of business, run the same questions past each of them, and start with a paid audit or a short initial term. The right person will usually be the one who asks you the most useful questions, not the one with the boldest number on their homepage.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find a good Google Ads expert in India?

Shortlist freelancers whose own website shows the kind of work you need, check the certifications and case studies they publish, and then interview two or three of them with the same questions. Ask how they check conversion tracking, who works on the account, and how many clients they handle. Start with a paid audit before committing to ongoing management.

How much does a Google Ads freelancer in India charge?

For Indian businesses, a five-figure rupee monthly retainer per account is common. For overseas clients, India-based freelancers often charge around $300 to $800 a month, with experienced specialists nearer $500 to $1,500. Audits and setups are usually quoted as fixed projects, and some freelancers also sell hourly consultations.

Is a freelancer or an agency better for Google Ads in India?

A freelancer usually gives you more senior attention per rupee and direct contact with the person doing the work. An agency gives you a bench, cover during holidays and several channels under one contract. If Google Ads is your main paid channel and you want one accountable person, a freelancer is often the better fit.

Does a Google Partner badge mean a freelancer is good?

No. A Google Partner badge or Skillshop certification shows a baseline of knowledge and some account activity, but it does not prove someone will run your account well. Treat it as a minimum, and judge the person on how they answer specific questions about your tracking, structure and goals.

Can a Google Ads freelancer in India manage ads for a US or UK business?

Yes. Google Ads work rarely needs live meetings, and the time difference often means changes happen while you sleep. Check that the freelancer has experience with your market and campaign types, just as you would with anyone local.

Should I give a Google Ads freelancer my account password?

No. Add them as a user in your Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts at the right access level, or accept a link request from their manager account. Keep the account and billing in your own name so you keep the history if you change freelancers later.
